Outsider Music by Alan Buck and friends
Working in isolation in a mysterious backstreet shack, with complete indifference to and from the music industry, Alan has composed and recorded many songs, instrumentals and musical collages over the years, sometimes alone and sometimes with friends. A vast archive of recordings exist, ranging from post punk to musique concrete, kosmiche-inspired pieces and psych-folk pop. Most of these works are unpublished and previously unheard. This website provides an opportunity for some of this music to finally come out from the darkness of dusty drawers and boxes of old tapes and be heard.

The Hidden Corner Open House will be an occasional event in Brighton England, held during the Brighton Festival in May. The first was held in 2011 and included art by Alan Buck, photos by Tudor Jenkins and ceramics by Robert Ayton, whose work will also be featured on this site in due course...watch this space! There will be no open house in 2012.
